Insa Art Space (IAS) presents its closing exhibition 《That (This) Space》, on view through June 1.

The final exhibition at IAS, 《That (This) Space》, marks the end of a 25-year journey. It looks back on how IAS has engaged with both the art world and broader society over the years, and now, at its closure, reflects on what this space can still signify.

Rather than commemorating past achievements, the moment of closure is approached as an open-ended event—and a question. Developed in collaboration with artists and curators who each see IAS as ‘that (this) space’ in their own way, 《That (This) Space》 seeks to open up dialogue. It treats the closure not as a conclusion, but as a point of departure—one that invites further questions.

A series of public programs will accompany the exhibition, offering opportunities to reflect on the significance of art spaces within the Korean art scene. Throughout the exhibition period, a variety of programs are scheduled, starting with an opening performance by artist Uhm Jieun, followed by a roundtable, talk programs, and a reading club.
