Kiaf SEOUL 2025, Korea’s largest art fair, will take place from Wednesday, September 3 to Sunday, September 7 at COEX in Gangnam, Seoul. During Kiaf Art Week, Kiaf will collaborate with Frieze Seoul as well as domestic and international art institutions to present a wide range of programs, offering audiences a unique opportunity to engage with art.

The first week of September, when Kiaf SEOUL and Frieze Seoul are held side by side, has become a representative art festival period that immerses Seoul in art. Around the time of the fairs, special exhibitions, art events, and collaborative programs unfold across the city, filling Seoul with a celebratory energy that embraces both international art enthusiasts and the general public.

As Korea’s largest art fair, Kiaf SEOUL has consistently sought to go beyond the art market to broaden access to art and to develop the fair into a festival co-created by the Korean art community. This year, under the theme “Resonance,” Kiaf has strengthened its collaboration with the government, Frieze Seoul, and cultural institutions to contribute to building a sustainable art ecosystem.

Kiaf also announced plans to expand points of contact between audiences and art through citywide programs, ranging from special exhibitions at the airport and throughout the city, to late-night gallery openings, classical concerts, and more.

Public Art Program

This year, Kiaf will offer audiences opportunities to encounter art naturally in daily life through exhibitions held at Incheon International Airport and across downtown Seoul.

From August 22 to September 17, the special exhibition 《We Connect, Art & Future, Kiaf and INCHEON AIRPORT》 will be presented at the Millennium Hall of Incheon International Airport. Featuring ten leading Korean galleries participating in Kiaf SEOUL 2025, the exhibition will showcase more than fifty works by over twenty artists.

In addition, Kiaf SEOUL will collaborate with MediaArt SEOUL, the city’s flagship urban exhibition platform, to present a large-scale media art project that transforms Seoul into a vast canvas. From September 1 to 19, screenings will take place every hour at key venues including Shinsegae Square, Digital Chosun Ilbo, Atelier Gwanghwa, and Haechi Madang Media Wall.

Kiaf Classic & Kiaf Membership Program: Transforming the Art Fair into an ‘Experiential’ Event

Kiaf SEOUL, which has been at the center of the Korean art market while opening new horizons in visual arts, is once again hosting the music concert Kiaf Classic, following last year’s edition. This initiative expands the art fair from being merely an event to see into one to experience.

In addition, Kiaf SEOUL operates the Kiaf Membership Program for those seeking a deeper artistic experience and a better understanding of the art market. Members enjoy opportunities to visit exhibitions and major programs, along with exclusive cultural experiences such as private art tours and networking events.
