Factory2
presents a group exhibition “Correspondences”, featuring artists from Korea and
Finland, on view through December 31.
This
exhibition is a collaborative project between Factory2 and the Finnish gallery
LOKAL, showcasing works by five Korean artists and five Finnish artists, all
using various natural materials with a focus on the hand.

Factory2 has been expanding the boundaries of
visual art through a craft-based approach, discovering contemporary creators,
while LOKAL has been exploring sustainable beauty through collaboration with
local artists, designers, and craftspeople, based on the harmony of nature and
culture.
The exhibition, curated by Katja Hagelstam,
the founder of LOKAL and a photographer, along with space design by interior
architect Hanni Koroma, takes place in a reinterpreted Factory2 space, offering
a fresh perspective.

The artists’ works resonate with one another
in this space, creating an ephemeral 'commune' where people, objects, light,
and color from different places and times converge, leaving a lasting
impression.
