Artist_Global K-Art Ham Jin, Who Has Built a World of Microscopic Sculpture, Presents His First Solo Exhibition in France,《MICROmégas》, at Galerie Dohyang Lee in Paris The first solo exhibition in France by Korean artist Ham Jin,《MICROmégas》, will be held at Galerie Dohyang Lee in the Marais district of Paris. Introducing the artist’s work to Paris for the first time, the exhibition presents another sculptural perspective on the world through a microscopic scale, showcasing the distinctive visual language Ham Jin has developed through extremely small sculptures and installations.

Artist_Global K-Art Suki Seokyeong Kang (1977–2025), Solo Exhibition at Tina Kim Gallery, New York:《Our Spring》, A Sculptural Language Reconfiguring the Structures of Jari and Time Tina Kim Gallery will present《Our Spring》, a solo exhibition of the late Suki Seokyeong Kang (1977–2025), from March 12 through April 25, 2026. Marking the first anniversary of the artist’s untimely passing, the exhibition serves both as a memorial and as a tribute to her singular artistic vision.

Artist_Global K-Art Korean Female Artists Featured on Overseas Platforms: Artists Julia Jo, GaHee Park, Wook-kyung Choi, and Jung Kangja Many Korean artists are being introduced to the global art scene. Emerging contemporary artists Julia Jo (b. 1991) and GaHee Park (b. 1985) were recently introduced in Ocula and ARTnews, respectively. The works of Choi Wook-kyung (1940-1985) and Jung Kangja (1942-2017), whose works had a significant influence on the modern and contemporary Korean art world, will be presented in group exhibitions at the Whitechapel Gallery in the UK.

Artist_Global K-Art Artist Mire Lee’s Solo Exhibition at the New Museum This Summer Artist Mire Lee’s works are far from picturesque or beautiful. They have a bizarre and grotesque appearance that evokes feelings of disgust. But because of this, it is difficult to look away from Lee’s works. Some of her works drip wet slime as if an animal’s intestines were hung from an iron bar, while others resemble a desolate, abandoned construction site with the torn fabric remaining on a steel frame, reminiscent of a battered whale with only its bones remaining.

Artist_Global K-Art Artist Donghoon Rhee Holds Solo Exhibition at VSF, Los Angeles VSF (Various Small Fires) is presenting Woman, a solo exhibition by Donghoon Rhee (b. 1991), at the gallery’s “and Milk” project space in Los Angeles. It is the artist’s first solo exhibition outside of Korea, featuring new wood sculptures and paintings. The exhibition’s title was inspired by the works of Willem de Kooning, Woman I (1950–1953) and Woman III (1953).

Biennale_News Binna Choi Appointed as Artistic Director for the 61st Venice Biennale Korean Pavilion The Arts Council Korea (ARKO) has appointed curator Binna Choi as the Artistic Director for the Korean Pavilion at the 61st International Art Exhibition of La Biennale di Venezia (Venice Biennale) in 2026. Binna Choi previously served as a curator for the 2016 Gwangju Biennale and as a co-artistic director for the 2022 Singapore Biennale. She was the Director of Casco Art Institute in the Netherlands from 2008 to 2023. She is currently serving as a co-artistic director for the Hawai‘i Triennial 2025, which runs until May 4 this year.

Tina Kim Gallery is presenting《Kang Seok Ho: Hold Still》, the gallery’s second solo exhibition of the late Korean artist, currently on view from November 20, 2025 through January 24, 2026.
