Artist_Global K-Art The Samsung Foundation of Culture Selected Two Korean Artists as Residents at the Cité Internationale des Arts in Paris for 2024 Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Samsung Foundation of Culture’s residency program at Cité Internationale des Arts in Paris, which was suspended for three years, has resumed. The Foundation has selected Minsook Kang and Jeehee Park as resident artists for 2024 at Cité Internationale des Arts. Kang will participate in the foundation’s residency program from March to August 2024, while Park is scheduled to be in residence from September 2024 to February 2025.

Biennale_News Binna Choi Appointed as Artistic Director for the 61st Venice Biennale Korean Pavilion The Arts Council Korea (ARKO) has appointed curator Binna Choi as the Artistic Director for the Korean Pavilion at the 61st International Art Exhibition of La Biennale di Venezia (Venice Biennale) in 2026. Binna Choi previously served as a curator for the 2016 Gwangju Biennale and as a co-artistic director for the 2022 Singapore Biennale. She was the Director of Casco Art Institute in the Netherlands from 2008 to 2023. She is currently serving as a co-artistic director for the Hawai‘i Triennial 2025, which runs until May 4 this year.
