Whistle presents a group exhibition 《Tenses》 curated by KIM Sung Woo (Curator / Founder of Primary Practice).

The exhibition 《Tenses》, featuring artists Kim Seeun, Kim Yuja, RohwaJeong, Moon Isaac, and Han Uri, draws attention to the ways in which the language of art captures, delays, extends, expands, or even superimposes the appearance of time.

To this end, the exhibition examines how the inherent properties of the mediums each examine their formal mechanism to trigger, activate, sustain, and sense time. It refers to the operative principles of the formal languages and the ideas through which they reanimate their own images as “tenses.”

Moving away from linear structures, the tenses of this exhibition entangle and intersect, constructing multiple time zones where various temporalities simultaneously emerge—or vanish.
