BB&M presents a group exhibition 《PAPER MATTERS》 on view through April 30.

The 《PAPER MATTERS》 exhibition showcases works on paper by seven artists, including internationally renowned contemporary artists Lee Bul, Bae Young-whan, and Minouk Lim; prominent emerging painter Sikyung Sung; and New York-based artists Alex Dodge, Miko Veldkamp, and Tyson Reeder.

This exhibition features works that highlight the materiality, spatiality, and expansive potential of paper as a medium. Beyond serving as a mere foundation for artistic creation, paper is a flexible medium that allows artists to freely explore ideas and intuitively express sensory experiences. Through the material combination of colors, it becomes a site of experimentation and creative expression, expanding into a platform for unfolding individual narratives.

The seven participating artists shed new light on the structural possibilities and sculptural qualities of paper, exploring its transformative and expansive characteristics through diverse approaches.
