The Arts
Council Korea (ARKO) has published an archival publication commemorating the
30th anniversary of the Korean Pavilion: “International Architecture Exhibition
– La Biennale di Venezia, The Korean Pavilion 1996–2025.”
The
publication “International Architecture Exhibition – La Biennale di Venezia,
The Korean Pavilion 1996–2025” is the first book to comprehensively document
the role of the Korean Pavilion at the Venice Biennale in shaping the discourse
of Korean architectural exhibitions. The publication features curatorial
statements and exhibition summaries from past commissioners and artistic
directors, as well as interviews with architects Kang Suk Won, Jong Soung Kimm,
and Seung H-Sang.

Published
in conjunction with the exhibition 《Little Toad, Little
Toad: Unbuilding Pavilion》 — the Korean Pavilion at the
19th International Architecture Exhibition of the Venice Biennale, which opened
on May 10 — this book is available both in print and as an e-book.
The
e-book can be downloaded as a PDF from the publication archive page on the ARKO
Art Center website
(https://www.arko.or.kr/artcenter/board/view/510?bid=&page=&cid=716259),
and is available in both Korean and English.
